Position overview
 
The Division of Student Life is responsible for facilitating a positive and inclusive experience for all students as they transition in, through, and out of University.

The Division comprises two portfolios (Student Experience and Access, Inclusion and Wellbeing), the ANU Halls of Residence, and Accommodation Services. Student Experience and Career Development is located in the Student Experience portfolio.

The Manager of Student Experience and Career Development is responsible for leading and managing program and project-based teams and for ensuring accessible, efficient, and effective provision of services that support orientation and transition, extra-curricular enrichment, leadership, career development and employability for all students. The delivery of these programs will engage students in their learning, will extend into the ANU Colleges, and will align with the University’s strategic objectives and commitment to excellence in education.

The successful applicant will enjoy managing a dynamic team and will have a comprehensive understanding of the student life-cycle, from orientation to the development inside and outside of the curriculum of student employability and their transition into the world of work and the community. You will have highly-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills necessary to provide excellent service delivery within a complex educational setting.
