The role will focus on digital marketing and CRM integration and will lead and support business teams to make best use of digital strategies, systems and resources in the context of the ANU Strategic Plan. This is a key strategic position and will be responsible for driving innovation in using channels such as the web, email and social media to communicate and promote the University. You’ll be joining a team of UX and digital natives to want to deliver a great customer experience through leveraging and improving our marketing platforms.

  • Plan and execute digital recruitment campaigns for international, domestic, postgraduate and undergraduate cohorts
  • Lead an agile development team including UX and web developers
  • Develop campaign briefs and translate these into a build plan for technical implementation.

Position overview

The Digital Marketing Manager assists in the development and implementation of the ANU digital recruitment strategy, utilising marketing automation, social media, SEM and SEO to generate and nurture prospective leads.The Digital Marketing Manager will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

The position will lead the development of digital campaigns for the university and require a high level of risk awareness and stakeholder management. The role requires excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills, strong communication skills, both written and verbal and a flexibility and willingness to learn. It is expected that the position will be work independently and take responsibility for campaign outcomes and team success.
