Salary package: $125,642 per annum plus 17% Superannuation

The Australian National University, one of the world's leading research universities, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, customer serviced focused finance professional to work within the University's Finance and Business Services Division.
The University has commenced the Budget and Reporting Framework (BRF) Program to reform its budget model and associated systems and processes. The BRF Program will affect all aspects of financial management across the University and is designed to place the University’s financial management on a more contemporary footing.
The BRF Program has four main streams of activity: Developing the ANU Resource Management Model (ARMM); Enhancing Finance and Budget Systems; Improving Finance/Budget Policy and Processes; and Change Management and Communications.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing and implementing the Resource Management Model stream of the program. They will provide subject matter expertise within the team as well as to the other sectors of the program.
Your relevant tertiary qualifications and experience applying contemporary financial management practices and analytical and problem solving skills will be complimented by excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a leadership role within the ANU Resource Management Model (ARMM) team within the Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS). The Senior Financial Analyst works with BRF Program team members across the division and works within the Resource Management Team, which is responsible for analysing existing budget models, developing options and for the new model and implementing the agreed model in time for the 2021 Budget allocations.
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a significant role in the management and engagement of the team, ensuring that all objectives and deadlines are met, supporting team career development and knowledge sharing. They have the ability to provide strategic financial advice and demonstrated planning skills to support senior management including experience developing and implementing finance-related policies, procedures and strategic plans to improve financial outcomes.
